Sarah Gorham is a poet and publisher who currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky. Her first full-length collection of poems, Don't Go Back To Sleep (Galileo Press, 1989) was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 1990. Gorham's poems have been published widely in such magazines as Poetry, The Nation, The Kenyon Review, Poughshares, and Poetry Northwest. She is the recipient of the Carolyn Kizer Award, and grants and fellowships from Yaddo and the MacDowell colony, among others. In 1994 Sarah Gorham founded Sarabande Books where she now serves as President and Editor-in-Chief. |
