Henry Israeli is a poet and playwright, educated at McGill University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Fresco: Selected Poetry of Luljeta Lleshanaku—edited, co-translated, and with an afterword by Henry Israeli—was published by New Directions in April 2002. His poems have appeared in numerous journals including The Iowa Review, Fence, Tin House, Quarterly West, Seneca Review, Verse and elsewhere. Henry Israeli lives with his wife and daughter. They divide their time between State College, Pennsylvania and New York City. |
